Update for BMD Records Lancashire

The Lancashire BMD records have just been updated. You may have looked on this site before with out finding the records that you wanted . I have included a link to all the new information on the site.

  1. I am looking for any descendents of Henry Pennington 1834 - 1888. He had 8 children: James, John, Harry, Alice,Ellis, Emma, Mary & Thomas. Thomas was my great grandfather. As far as I am aware James died childless. John had six children and was resident publican at the Jawbone Tavern in Litherland Road, Liverpool. Harry was the peace mayor in 1918/1919 and had five children. Alice remained a spinster. Ellis married an Elizabeth Bradshaw Draper and they had one son, also Ellis. Emma married we believe a Harry Boothroyd and had at least two children: Edna (who married John Bell and moved to Ohio, US) & Phyllis. Mary married Tyson Ibbs and had nine children, but six died of illness in the first decade of the 20th Century. Thomas only had one child who was my grandfather, Charles.

I am particularly interested in locating descendents of John, Harry, Ellis and Emma.

Any tips, help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.
